Badge recipient completed a one-year fellowship to tackle urgent challenges in their community through highly-impactful youth led civic action projects.
The badge earner successfully completed the Carnegie Young Leaders for Civic Preparedness Fellowship, a civic leadership development experience designed to strengthen participants' knowledge, skills, and capacity to create positive change in their communities.
Throughout the fellowship, participants engaged in learning and reflection activities focused on:
- Civic leadership and democratic participation
- Civic virtues, including humility, integrity, respect, responsibility, and participation
- Constructive dialogue and engagement across differences
- Productive collaboration and collaborative problem-solving
- Community-centered leadership and civic action
- Personal leadership development and civic identity
Participants explored real-world civic challenges, practiced leadership skills through discussion and reflection, and developed strategies for addressing issues affecting their communities. The fellowship emphasized relationship-building, civic responsibility, democratic values, and leadership in service of the public good.

Carnegie Young Leaders are empowered young people, ages 14–24, who worked together over the period of a year to develop and implement bold, fresh civic solutions in their own communities. Teams of five received funding, coaching, and access to a national peer network to turn their ideas into lasting impact.

Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
